When you hit level 100 in Diablo 4, there will be one more boss left for you to defeat, Lilith.
This is the final boss in Diablo 4, and you’ll need to defeat her in order to complete the main story. That’s where our Diablo 4 Lilith guide comes in.
Diablo 4 Lilith guide
As taking her down is not a walk in the park, we’ll discuss different strategies you should follow during your fight with Lilith in Diablo 4.
How to prepare for the Lilith boss fight
Make sure that you have a strong build that offers a balance between attack and defense. Lilith will constantly use powerful attacks against you, so you’ll need something that can help you stay alive for longer.
Also, make sure that you have lots of healing potions in your inventory, as you’ll need them after her second phase starts.
How to find Lilith in Diablo 4
To fight Lilith, you must reach level 60 and unlock World Tier 4.
Then, after you complete the Fallen Temple Capstone Dungeon in World Tier 3, a quest will appear called ‘Echo of Hatred.’
Just follow this quest, and you’ll meet Lilith, the final boss of Diablo 4.
How to defeat Lilith in Diablo 4
Lilith has two phases, with the second one getting activated after you have dealt a significant amount of damage. This also makes her the only boss in Diablo 4 with two phases.
First phase
The first phase of Lilith isn’t that difficult, but you can still get sent to your grave if you’re not careful.
When the fight starts, she will jump on the ground and try to slam you, but you can easily avoid it by jumping back. Then, if you’re close to her, she’ll attack you with her wing. So, as soon as you notice she’s spinning, just back off.
Another attack that she’ll use is Lines of Flames, but she’ll only use it if you’re at a distance from her. Just keep dodging her two attacks and perform a counter-attack whenever you see an opening.
Second phase
After you’ve dealt a good amount of damage, Lilith will enter her second phase. This is where things will get serious.
Throughout the fight, she will be mainly using the same attacks as her first phase, but she will be much more powerful and aggressive.
On top of that, her attacks will also start breaking the arena, and you will constantly need to move to avoid falling down, which will lead to your death.
The most annoying thing Lilith will do is fly around the arena. So, if you don’t have any ranged attacks, you won’t be able to do anything about it.
She will also create red spots on the ground, which will deplete plenty of your health if you get caught in them. Avoiding them will become challenging when the ground starts breaking, and you don’t have many places to run to.
When her second phase starts, she will jump in the air and create a row of fire in front of you. As soon as the area behind the fire is clear, rush to it and go to the right edge of the arena.
She will then come close to you, and you need to start landing attacks on her as soon as she’s within the range. Then, avoid the fire again and go to the left side this time.
Wait for the boss to come to you again and start hitting her with all you’ve got. When she creates a line of fire again to break the ground, move to the other side as soon as it’s clear.
If you keep this up, you will be able to eliminate Lilith in no time. Just keep your distance, and keep moving around.
Rewards for defeating Lilith in Diablo 4
After you defeat Lilith, you will earn some powerful rewards. First, she will drop the Resplendent Spark.
For those who don’t know, this is an extremely rare item. If you have a total of four Resplendent Sparks in the game, you can create any Uber Unique item that you like.
Aside from this, there’s also a chance for the boss to drop the Reins of the Bloody Liquid Steed mount. This is another unique mount, one that you can not get from anywhere else in the game.
This was everything you needed to know about how to defeat Lilith in Diablo 4.
