This nearly 10-years old console-based Western shooter is now getting an unofficial remastered mod for the PC.
Called the “Red Dead Redemption: Damned Enhancement Project”, it is an emulator-type mod that aims to add on high-quality graphics onto the entire game. It will also come with optimisations that ensure the game will run smoothly on the PC.
The mod, which works specifically with Xenia and RPCS3 emulators, will visually enhance the game textures, user interface, shaders, 3D models, and in-game backgrounds.
Players must extract the game from the DVD onto the PC and run it with the mod on the emulator to experience the graphic enhancements.
