There are plenty of mysteries to unravel in the Pale Heart destination of Destiny 2 The Final Shape. One such mystery lie awaits deep within the Refraction area of the Landing, where you will find a glowing chest that requires a Refracting Prismatic key to open.

Refracting Prismatic key location guide in Destiny 2
You can get the Refracting Prismatic key in Destiny 2 by solving the runic puzzle in the area.
Here, you will notice three vertical rune symbols on one side of the room alongside a solar crystal behind it. As soon as you go up and grab the solar crystal, a bunch of rune symbols will appear horizontally across the upper floor.
You will also notice a multitude of fire plates throughout the upper floor. There is an empty plate in front of each rune symbol. The trick is to deposit the solar crystal in the plates whose rune symbols match the vertical ones below in top to bottom order.
If you start from the left while facing the chest from the entrance, the correct order for depositing the solar crystal would be 4, 8, 1. In the screenshots below, we have marked the plates you have to interact with, and in what order.
If you deposit the crystal on the right plate, you will get a text on the left-hand side saying, ‘It draws near.’ On the other hand, if you deposit the solar crystal on the wrong plate, it will read, ‘It remains distant,’ and a horde of Husk enemies will spawn and try to kill you.
Every time you pick up the solar crystal after lighting the right plate, a group of shadow thralls will invade, though you can use the crystal to burn them.
Once you have lit all the plates, a group of Dread Weavers will show up alongside two Omen Subjugators with Prismatic shields.
A Prismatic well will also spawn in the area, so use that to fill up your Transcendence meter. Upon death, one of the Omen bosses will drop the Refracing Prismatic Key.
Grab the key, clear the area, and open the Prismatic chest to get the Facet of Justice Prismatic Fragment.
With Facet of Justice, your ability final blows will explore when transcendent. You also get +10 Intellect.
