MPL SG Season 9, the ninth season of the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional League (MPL) Singapore, starts on May 10, 2025.
This season introduces several new initiatives, including a Regular Season held at various locations, a revised league format, and a talent and ambassador search program. These changes aim to increase community engagement with the MLBB esports scene.
MPL SG Season 9 venues
The Regular Season of MPL Singapore adopts a roving format for the first time, hosting matches at malls throughout Singapore.
This change in venue from a single studio aims to increase accessibility for Mobile Legends: Bang Bang and esports enthusiasts.
The new format is intended to provide more competitive opportunities for community teams, encouraging broader participation and support.

Offline engagement opportunities are available for fans, including an Attendance Passport program with prizes valued up to 2,000 Diamonds (in-game currency) and lucky draws.
Attendees will also have the opportunity to vote for emerging Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) within the MLBB esports community.
MPL SG Season 9 format
The revised format includes four new stages within the Regular Season: the Seeded Stage, the Challenger Qualifiers, the Challenger Stage, and the Last Chance Qualifiers.
This new structure allows for the participation of up to 64 community teams weekly during the Regular Season, aiming for greater inclusivity.
The MPL Singapore champion team from this season will represent Singapore at the MLBB Mid Season Cup (MSC) during the Esports World Cup (EWC) 2025.
MPL Singapore Season 9 is jointly organized by Moonton Games and Pulse Nova Entertainment and features a strengthened emphasis on community integration through its new initiatives.
