Know which Star Wars Outlaws edition is best for you

Although the benchmarks aren’t out yet, Ubisoft claims that a combination of Ryzen 5 3600 and NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660 (6 GB) can easily deliver 30 FPS when you’re playing Star Wars Outlaws on low preset with upscaler set to quality.

At the same time, if you have NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060TI (8 GB) and AMD Ryzen 5 5600x installed in your gaming machine, you’re more likely to get 60 FPS at 1080P resolution.

When it comes to the RAM, a single 8GB stick is not going to get the job done for you. In other words, the RAM requirement is 16 GB in dual-channel mode, so if you’re still on an 8 GB system, you might run into issues. They have also specified that 65 GB of free storage space is required on an SSD.

While games that recommend SSDs can sometimes run on hard drives, they generally encounter issues like slow loading times, lag, and stuttering.

The CPUs listed are the Ryzen 5 3600 and the Intel Core i7-8700K. Both are 6-core, 12-thread CPUs, so if you have a somewhat modern CPU, you should be okay.

Finally, if you want to play at 4K resolution, rendering internally at 1440p with the upscaler set to Quality, and at 60fps on ultra graphics, you’ll need an RTX 4080 or an RX 7900 XTX. These high-end parts generally perform similarly unless using heavy ray tracing.
