The new Stardew Valley 1.6 update implemented a new end game mechanic hidden behind a tree.
If somehow you stumbled upon a mysterious door within Cindersap Forest and you’re wondering how to open it, you’ve come to the right place. In this article, we’ll walk you through the Stardew Valley mastery cave and how to unlock it.
Where is the Stardew Valley Mastery cave?
The new area is located at the bottom of Cindersap Forest, just below Leah’s cottage. Upon reaching the said area, you will see an uncut tree that keeps the door hidden.
However, if you interact with the door before mastering all five skills in Stardew Valley, you’ll receive a prompt that reads, “Only a master of the five ways may enter.”
How to unlock Stardew Valley Mastery Cave
To unlock the Stardew Valley Mastery Cave door, players are required to achieve level 10 in each of the five skills: Farming, Mining, Foraging, Fishing, and Combat. Once you unlock the door, the player will unlock a new mastery system below the skill menu.
This rewards players additional endgame tools and abilities by earning mastery points that can be gained throughout your gameplay and spending it on the pillars inside the Mastery cave.
