Supercell’s Clash of Clans World Championship 2020 has been delayed to ensure the safety of players during the COVID-19 epidemic.

The World Championship was scheduled to have six live qualifiers in the year. Before getting into the live qualifiers, teams were to compete in clan war leagues and ESL Play Cups to secure a spot in the live qualifier.

The winner of each live qualifier would have qualified for the CoC World Finals 2020, and a chance at the tournament’s US$1 million prize pool.

However, with the current COVID-19 situation, Supercell has moved the first three qualifiers to an online format while the final three will take place offline at the ESL Arena in Katowice, Poland.

  • Qualifier 1 – June 26-28
  • Qualifier 2 – July 24-26
  • Qualifier 3 – August 28-30
  • Qualifier 4 – September 25-27
  • Qualifier 5 – October 16-18
  • Qualifier 6 -October 30-November 1

If all six qualifiers go through as planned, the Clash of Clans World Finals 2020 will likely happen sometime in late November or early December.
