The Hacker Playstyle lets players step into the shoes of CNS, who possesses a new set of gadgets and a new specialization that can be integrated with players’ existing toolset.

As a “glitch in the system”, the Hacker Playstyle allows you to remove walls, defy gravity, tunnel across the arena, and transform items, bringing a new dimension to the game.

CNS introduces its own Arena, SYS$HORIZON.

Featuring a mix of vertical and horizontal gameplay, this glitchy, neon-filled cityscape exists in the loading realm of the game show.

Between buildings you’ll find Voxel bridges, as well as pieces of floating, glitched geometry that allow contestants to parkour through the arena. Overall, it looks particularly stunning at night.

What is The Finals?

The Finals game concept is based on a televised virtual combat game show, reflected in the holographic crowds seen during gameplay and the commentary provided by the game in the form of various hosts making observations about the status of a given team or the game itself.

Embark Studios stated that the game is partly inspired by The Hunger Games and Gladiator (2000). All game modes feature three or four teams, each competing against each other in a free-for-all.

The game is free on PC via Steam, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.
