If you are not tired of grinding materials and buildcrafting in The First Descendant, there is good news: Nexon Games just announced the release date for the First Descendant season 1, alongside a two-minute long trailer showcasing new environments, an Ice-based Descendant, Ultimate Freyna, and more.
The First Descendant Season 1: Invasion will also introduce a new grim reaper-style Void Intercept boss alongside new story content.

When is the The First Descendant Season 1 release date?
The First Descendant Season 1 will be released on August 29, 2024 on all platforms.
As mentioned above, it will introduce a new Sniper Descendant, Hailey, who can deal Ice damage.
The trailer also puts the spotlight on Freyna, the poison DOT Descendant, suggesting there will be a new companion quest related to her. Freyna seems to be getting an ultimate form as well, like Valby and Viessa before her.
As for Hailey, she will be the second Ice-based character in the game, so if you don’t have Viessa or Ultimate Viessa, you would probably want to get her.
Like other Descendants in the game, Hailey can be obtained for free by farming her materials and researching her attributes at Anais’ Research Institute. However, you can also take the easy route and purchase the new Descendant from the game’s store, though it would cost you a fortune.
The First Descendant Steam player count has dropped since its launch in July, but that has not stopped Nexon from making frequent updates to the game.
Since then, the studio have made several bug fixes and quality-of-life enhancements, not to mention adding the support Descendant Yuna, who is currently the easiest character to farm in the game.
