Game remakes have become a common trend in the gaming industry, and some have performed exceptionally. Some examples are Resident Evil, Dead Space, Yakuza Kiwami, and more.
Good graphics have been a priority in modern remakes, as older audiences would get to see their favorites in a new light. For newer generations, this would be a way to get into gaming classics.
However, just having great visuals is not enough for remakes, as audiences expect improvements in gameplay which was earlier limited by technology.

Since there have been many great releases in the past, not all might make it into this list. Without further ado, here are our picks for the top five games that deserve a remake.
The difference between game remake and remaster
There is a common misconception between remakes and remasters. A game remaster mainly tweaks a few features or makes some graphical adjustments based on the original.
A remake on the other hand is a full recreation of an older title on a newer game engine. Since the game has to be made from scratch, it takes more time and effort.
