When is the Warframe 1999 release date?
Warframe 1999 will be released in the winter of 2024. As of this writing, DE have not announced a concrete release date for this upcoming update.
However, the studio did release a Warframe 1999 demo on October 16, 2024, which gives a taste of some of the new story content and gameplay features coming in this update. Playing the demo will also unlock the sleek Protokol Longsword skin.
What to expect from Warframe 1999?
Warframe 1999 takes the fight into the past, where a group of Protoframes are hunting down the enigmatic Orokin scientist, Albrecht Entrati. It takes place in the city of Höllvania on Earth, controlled by the military force, Scaldra, and their tyrant leader, Major Neci Rusalka.
In addition to a new location, enemy faction, and story missions, Warframe 1999 will introduce a Baldur’s Gate 3-inspired romance system, which you can indulge in to improve bonds with different Protonframes and have a cozy time with one of them. There will also be a new frame Cyte-09 to unlock and a ton of QoL updates.
