Diablo 4 Season 4 is nearing its launch, bringing many new changes for PC, PlayStation, and Xbox users.
The Diablo 4 Season 4 start date was initially planned to be released on April 16, but the developers have postponed the date.
The delay allows Blizzard to work on the feedback gathered from the April Public Test Realm (PTR), and implement it into the upcoming season.
Diablo 4 Season 4 start date and start time
As of now, Diablo 4 Season 4’s release date is on May 14, 2024, at around 1 p.m. EDT.
We recommend completing your remaining tasks in Season 3: The Construct before the start of the new season. All your characters will transition to the Eternal Realm when Season 4 kicks off.
What to expect from Diablo 4 Season 4
While the wait for Season 4 is longer, it should be well worth it. Here’s what you can look forward to:
- A more balanced loot system: Season 4 promises a shift towards fewer, but more impactful affixes on loot drops. This should make finding that perfect piece of gear more exciting.
- Masterworking system: A brand new system for further enhancing your gear, offering more ways to personalize your character’s power. This will allow players to use their gears optimally by giving them the power to push specific stats.
- The Pit of Artificers: A more challenging new endgame experience that introduces unique crafting materials and the potential to craft exceptional armor. Of course, you will also face much tougher enemies.
It’s only a matter of waiting a while longer to witness all the exciting changes in Diablo 4 Season 4. Hopefully, it will be an exciting new addition to the long third season in the game.
