Hunting season is coming soon. Capcom has officially announced the release date of Monster Hunter Wilds at the PlayStation State of Play.
The latest title in the series, “Monster Hunter,” has officially been unveiled, bringing forth new monsters and a hair-raising storyline. Nata has been rescued from the border of the Forbidden Lands, but the Hunter’s Guild won’t rest until they find “The White Wraith,” the flagship monster. The hunting team will be comprised of a Hunter, a Handler, a Smithy, and, as always, a Palico.
The latest gameplay trailer, with its dynamic environment and weather, makes it difficult to wait for Monster Hunter Wilds for too long. So, when is Monster Hunter Wilds release date?
Monster Hunter Wilds release date
Monster Hunter Wilds is scheduled for release worldwide on Friday, February 28, 2025. Eager players can pre-purchase three variants of the game on Steam.
The game trailer looks impressive, with increased interactability and jaw-dropping monsters that come out in certain conditions and weather. CapCom has also highlighted a fishing mechanic players could use after a tough day of hunting monsters.
Monster Hunter Wilds is all about adapting. Hunters will have loads of gear options, but they’ll also need to study monster patterns and use their surroundings strategically.
The game is still five months from release, but fans know enough to make a decision whether it’s worth their hard-earned money or not. The base game includes two rewards of: a Talisman and a layered armor.
Deluxe Edition will set you back $89.99, but it does offer base game rewards, armor for your cute Palico, stickers, gestures, makeup, pendant, hairstyles, hunter’s profile, and fancy decorations for your Seikret. At $109, you may get all of that, including backgrounds for the profile, music track, and cosmetic DLC packs that will become available upon game release.
