Our XDefiant weapons tier list is based on our experience with the full release and the betas. That said, while we have considered each weapon class while ranking the weapons, the overall tier list favours weapons that perform well in getting wins and kills in the different ranked and unranked modes.
With that being said, here’s our XDefiant weapons tier list:

Best weapons to use in XDefiant
Similar to most shooters, the sniper weapon class has been dominating in XDefiant. Weapons like the TAC-50 and M44 have the potential to outperform every other weapon in the right hands, as all you need is one good shot to take out the opponent. It is one of the reasons why they sit in the S-tier.
That said, here are other great weapons that you should be using in the game:
MP7 (SMG)
The MP7 is the best SMG for players who like to flank enemies. It offers a very high rate of fire, accuracy, and mobility. Moreover, the weapon deals high damage and has a decent magazine size.
P90
The P90 is a great weapon in itself and a better alternative to MP7 for players who like to have slight extra ammo in each magazine.
M16A4
The M16A4 is a burst assault rifle that deals high damage even at long ranges. So even if you fail to land those perfect headshots, the TTK (Time to kill) is very low, as a few bursts on the body can take out opponents easily.
