To start the quest, head to the southmost Storage Room within the Lighthouse. Look for a long table with iron ingots to find the quest marker for Dead Men Tell Some Tales.
Interacting with it will reveal a request letter from Seer Rowan, asking his cousin to investigate reports of a spirit near the coast spreading tales of treasure.
Follow these steps to efficiently complete the quest:
- Fast travel to the Rivain Coast.
- Head north until you find the Spirit of Adventure and receive the first clue.
- Head south until you come across a giant leviathan skeleton by the coast.
- Reach the end of its tail past the boulders and defeat the undead pirates.
- Investigate a small rock formation behind one of the southern boulders to find the second clue.
- Follow the quest marker to a small waterfall. Climb it, and defeat the undead pirates.
- Investigate the base of the tiered waterfall to find the third clue.
- Go northwest and look for a thin waterfall facing the coast. Fight the Undead Pirate Captain that spawns nearby.
- Speak to the Spirit of Adventure nearby.
- Enter the treasure cave and collect your rewards.
