Eager to know how to trigger the Nuketown Easter egg in Black Ops 6? Look no further!
Black Ops 6 Season 1 brings a wave of nostalgia for Nuketown fans who were disappointed by the lack of Mannequin-based Easter eggs at launch.
Nuketown is a classic Call of Duty map, famous for its Easter eggs that add a nice little touch to uber-competitive games.
Over the years, Activision has upheld the tradition of including mini-quests like launching rockets, playing with filters, and more—all within Nuketown. So, many were disappointed when this iconic map was released without an Easter Egg.
When Season 1 launched, it didn’t take long for curious players to discover the newly added Easter egg that turns Nuketown’s mannequins hostile.
Here’s how you can trigger the Nuketown Easter egg in Black Ops 6
The Nuketown Easter Egg takes you into a 90s sitcom version of the map, with jingles playing in the background and a live audience.
It can be activated by shooting the heads off every mannequin on the map. You may do it in Infected on Nuketown or in a public lobby, but it may be easier to achieve in a private game.
To trigger the Easter Egg, start by shooting all mannequins within the playable area in the first one minute and 30 seconds of the game. It should be easy, considering Nuketown’s size.
Once you’re done shooting all mannequins, the screen will cut to a retro “Signal Lost, Stand By” message, and a few images of Nuketown in the same grainy filter will run. After that, the round will play out on a 90s TV.
On one side of the map, a live audience watches everything unfold, and if you shoot at them, they’ll retaliate by unleashing flashbangs and a few slurs.
Meanwhile, the mannequins you shot earlier will reappear as zombies, attacking you. It’s pretty chaotic but true to the soul of Nuketown.
