Emilie materials are essential for leveling up and unlocking the full potential of this scent-sational Genshin Impact character.
If you’re drawn to her enchanting perfumes or her mysterious forensic cleaning skills, this guide equips you with the knowledge to gather the necessary resources.
As a master perfumer with a hidden talent for forensic cleaning, Emilie embodies the duality of creation and concealment. Her perfumes, a delicate blend of fresh, floral, and fruity notes, have earned her fame in Fontaine’s Quartier Lyonnais.
However, her true artistry lies in her ability to transform crime scenes, a skill that contrasts sharply with her glamorous public image.
Who is Emilie in Genshin Impact?
Emilie is a 5-star Dendro character in Genshin Impact who wields a polearm. She’s a Fontaine citizen and as member of the Court.
Known primarily for her exceptional talent as a perfumer, Emilie enjoys immense popularity among the ladies of Fontaine.
Her perfumes are highly coveted for their unique and captivating scents. Interestingly, despite her profession, she doesn’t typically wear perfume while working as it can interfere with her ability to discern other odors.
Beyond her glamorous exterior, Emilie possesses a hidden side. She’s secretly a skilled forensic cleaner, utilizing her keen sense of smell and observation to assist in criminal investigations.
This unusual occupation has brought her close to Chevreuse, a captain in Fontaine’s law enforcement. Their collaboration during the Roses and Muskets event is a testament to their effective partnership.
One of Emilie’s most remarkable creations is a perfume that boasts multiple functionalities, according to The Steambird journalist, Charlotte. It not only repels insects but also acts as an anti-perspirant and deodorant, showcasing her innovative approach to perfumery.

All Emilie skills in Genshin Impact
Emilie is designed as an off-field Dendro damage dealer. Her kit revolves around creating and maintaining a consistent Dendro damage source.
Emilie’s elemental skill summons a Lumiduoce Case, a construct that automatically attacks nearby enemies at regular intervals.
This skill’s potency increases when enemies are afflicted with the Burning status. Under these conditions, the Lumiduoce Case’s damage area, attack frequency, and overall damage output receive a significant boost. Additionally, it gains the ability to inflict extra damage.
Her elemental burst summons a more powerful version of the Lumiduoce Case, capable of dealing continuous Dendro damage to nearby foes for a specific duration.
Once this high-level case expires, a new standard Lumiduoce Case is immediately created, ensuring uninterrupted Dendro application.
EMILIE SKILLS | DESCRIPTION |
Normal Attack: Shadow-Hunting Spear (Custom) | Normal Attack Performs up to 4 consecutive spear strikes. Charged Attack Consumes a certain amount of Stamina to perform an upward slash. |
Elemental Skill: Fragrance Extraction | Creates a Lumidouce Case that deals AoE Dendro damage. Lumidouce Case Fires Puffs of Puredew at nearby opponents at intervals, dealing Dendro damage. When nearby opponents are affected by Burning, they will give off Scents at intervals, and 1 Scent can be created this way every 2s. The Lumidouce Case collects nearby Scents. The Lumidouce Case will level up after gathering 2 of them, after which it will fire 1 extra Puff of Puredew when firing, while the damage dealt by and damage AoE of the above attack will also be increased. 1 Lumidouce Case created by Emilie herself can exist at any one time. The Case starts at Level 1 and can go up to Level 2. If the Case does not collect any Scents for 8s while it is on the field, it will go back to Level 1. |
Elemental Burst: Aromatic Explication | Guiding the fragrances collected within the Case, Emilie converts them into pure Dendro energy, creating a Level 3 Lumidouce Case and stowing existing Cases away. While it exists, the Level 3 Lumidouce Case will not gather nearby Scents, but it will continuously cause Scented Dew to descend, attacking opponents within range and dealing Dendro damage. During this time, 1 drop of Scented Dew will descend every 0.3 seconds, and 1 opponent can become the target every 0.7 seconds. When the duration ends, a Level 1 Lumidouce Case will be recreated. If a Lumidouce Case was stowed away when using Aromatic Explication, then the Case that was stowed away will be deployed instead, and its duration will be reset. While Aromatic Explication is active, the elemental skill “Fragrance Extraction” will not create a Lumidouce Case. |
Arkhe: Pneuma | At intervals, after Emilie creates a Lumidouce Case this way, a Spiritbreath Thorn will descend in front of her and pierce her opponent, dealing Pneuma-aligned Dendro damage. |
Passive: Headspace Capture | When the Lumidouce Case created by Emilie is on the field, all party members gain 85% Pyro resistance against Burning damage. |
Passive: Lingering Fragrance | Each time it collects 2 Scents, the Level 2 Lumidouce Case will consume Scents and release Cleardew Cologne that deals AoE Dendro damage equal to 600% of Emilie’s attack to opponents. This damage is not considered elemental skill damage. |
Passive: Rectification | Emilie deals increased damageo Burning opponents based on her attack, with every 1,000 attack increasing damage dealt by 15%. The maximum damage bonus that can be gained this way is 36%. |
