Natlan, the upcoming Pyro nation, is eagerly anticipated by Genshin Impact players. Ruled by the fiery element, it offers a stark contrast to the previously released regions.

Players can expect a vast map, comparable in size to Sumeru, filled with new challenges and characters. The nation’s tumultuous history promises a deep and engaging storyline.

As with any new region, Natlan will introduce a fresh roster of characters, each with unique abilities, along with new events, mechanics, artifacts, and more.

The path to Natlan will become available with an unlocked Teleport Waypoint. This waypoint can be accessed by players, including beginners and intermediates, who have completed the Prologue of the Archon Quest in Mondstadt.

As explained in the Genshin Impact Version 5.0 Special Program, fire has a unique and practical significance in Natlan.

The nation itself contains a widely present substance called Phlogiston. It is an advanced form of the Pyro element unique to Natlan. It is a strategic resource used in battles and exploration.

Fire symbolizes the indomidable spirit of the spirit of the people here, like how we saw the ever-burning flame in the Stadium of Sacred Fire. Heroes and legends in Natlan’s history have passed on their spirit and strength.

It is known as the “Nation of War” because it has faced various crises in its history and together have stood together to resist various forces that have threatened their homeland.

Through these battles, heroes emerged, carved into obsidian as “Ancient Names,” a core cultural concept for the people. Deeds and the spirit of heroes are passed down, where generations after can benefit and grow under the guidance of these Ancient Names.
