Riot Games has released a gameplay reveal teaser of Jett, Valorant’s latest agent in their highly anticipated, first-person shooter.
Jett is an agile and evasive agent who hails from South Korea, and uses movement abilities to get the upper hand on enemy players. She also has a powerful ultimate ability that could make her the deadliest agent in all of Valorant.
Abilities
Cloudburst — Throws out a cloud of fog that obscures vision on impact. Holding down the ability button will bend the cloud’s in-flight trajectory.
Updraft — After a brief wind up, propel the agent upwards.
Tailwind — Immediately dash a short distance in the direction Jett is moving to.
Blade Storm — Use throwing knives that deal moderate damage and kill on headshots. Storing a kill restores all daggers. Left-click throws a single dagger. Right-click throws all remaining daggers in a short-ranged burst. Throwing knives also remain accurate while Jett is moving.

From the gameplay trailer, Jett’s Tailwind looks like a powerful movement quite similar to Tracer’s Blink from Overwatch. Her vertical mobility with Upburst and her ability to obscure enemy vision with Cloudburst also looks extremely powerful, especially in a game with such a quick TTK.
Blade Storm wasn’t seen in the trailer but from the description, it sounds very powerful. Competitive, first-person shooters rarely give players the opportunity to be mobile, accurate, and one-shot all at the same time. Jett in the hands of an expert will likely lead to some insane plays.
Jett joins the Valorant roster with Phoenix, Viper, Sova, and Sage. Fans can expect more agents to be officially announced before Valorant’s closed beta launch on April 7.
