As always, the ideal Light Cone if you want the best Yunli build would be her signature Light Cone, Dance at Sunset, though, unlike 2.3’s Jade, she has solid 4-star options that shouldn’t refrain you from spending your Stellar Jades on her premium Light Cone.
That said, getting the Dance at Sunset Light Cone would still be a reasonable choice since it can significantly boost Yunli’s crit damage and follow-up attack damage, both of which are her primary sources of damage.
Alternatively, you could go for Blade’s signature Light Cone, The Unreachable Side. It won’t boost Yunli’s crit damage but will increase her crit rate instead. We recommend using this Light Cone only if your Yunli build has moderate crit damage boosts coming from other sources, such as having team members like Aventurine or Sparkle.
The Unreachable Side Light Cone would also heal Yunli every time she takes a hit, so if you don’t plan to bring a healer, this can be a nice fit for your Yunli build.
Something Irreplaceable (5-star Light Cone ) can get Yunli a decent attack boost and is another solid choice for your Yunli build. Additionally, killing an enemy or taking a hit would heal her and grant a damage boost for a turn.
Both 4-star Yunli light cones, Under the Blue Sky and Nowhere to Run, are great Yunli build options. Both grant her a significant attack boost. However, on killing an enemy, Under the Blue Sky boosts her crit rate, whereas Nowhere to Run heals her. Depending on the content and your playstyle, you could go with either.

The Wind-Soaring Valorous is the best Relic set for Yunli. Equipping all 4-pieces will boost Yunli’s attack, crit rate, and ultimate damage. The latter procs only after dealing a follow-up attack, which means you need to execute a follow-up attack to then launch a more devastating version of it via Yunli’s ultimate.
The Ashblazing Grand Duke relic set is also a solid option for your Yunli build since it can boost her damage and attack (after dealing a follow-up attack).
The attack buff you get from dealing follow-up attacks can stack up, so having someone like Sparkle in the team who constantly fast-forwards Yunli’s turn and provides more skill points for use would allow you to make the most out of that buff.
Best Yunli build: Planar Ornaments

Speaking of Planar Ornaments for this Yunli build, you’ll want to look into both the Inert Salsotto, and Duran, Dynasty of Running Wolves.
Equipping the Inert Salsotto planar ornaments would boost Yunli’s crit rate, follow-up attack damage, and ultimate damage.
However, we recommend using this only if Yunli’s crit rate also gets a boost from other sources, such as her light cone and relic set, as you would need it to be 50% or higher to proc the follow-up attack damage and ultimate damage boost.
Best Yunli team compositions in Honkai Star Rail
