How to get a free 4-star character in Honkai Star Rail 2.7’s Cosmic Home Decor Guide event
You must acquire a special in-game item called Fateful Crossings: Cosmic Home Decor Guide to claim your free character. Once you have this item, you can choose any 4-star character from the event’s featured roster.
Fateful Crossings is a limited-time reward. Once version 2.7 ends, you won’t be able to obtain it anymore. Be sure to participate in the event and grab this opportunity to either strengthen your existing characters or add a new character to your team for free.

Cosmic Home Decor Guide events and missions
In this event, Honkai Star Rail invites Trailblazers to go on a home renovation journey. To participate, you must complete various tasks and missions to earn rewards, including Fateful Crossings.
The event focuses on transforming an empty storage room into a cozy personal space. Players can earn Express Funds by completing duties and using them to purchase furniture and decorations. As the renovation progresses, more areas and customization options become available.
To earn Express Funds, players form teams and complete tasks. Different team leaders have unique abilities that can affect the team’s performance. You can also use action cards to strategically plan your teams’ actions.
Throughout the event, you can participate in Dinner Meetings to increase Pom-Pom’s evaluation and earn additional rewards. The higher the evaluation, the more rewards you can obtain.
Cosmic Home Decor Guide eligibility
To participate in the event, you must reach Trailblazer Level 21 or higher.
The event runs from December 4, 2024, to January 13, 2025.
