Two new characters from the Fate series — legendary Archer and Saber — will be added into the playable roster. These beloved heroes will finalize this exciting crossover and lend their strength to players on their upcoming adventures.
In the world of Fate/stay night, Archer is a complex and cynical Heroic Spirit summoned into the Fifth Holy Grail War. Initially appearing as the servant of Rin Tohsaka, his true identity is shrouded in mystery, creating a compelling dynamic with his Master and the other participants.
Archer possesses a unique fighting style centered around the projection of countless weapons, a manifestation of his powerful Reality Marble, Unlimited Blade Works.
His sharp wit and battle prowess make him a formidable opponent, while his inner turmoil adds layers of depth to his character, making him a standout presence in the Grail War.
Saber, the servant of Emiya Shirou in Fate/stay night, is the embodiment of the ideal knight: honorable, courageous, and fiercely loyal. Her true identity is Artoria Pendragon, the legendary King Arthur, who made a contract with the World to become a Heroic Spirit in exchange for the salvation of her kingdom.
Wielding the powerful and invisible sword Excalibur, she is a formidable warrior with unmatched swordsmanship and unwavering resolve. Saber’s unwavering dedication to her ideals and her quiet strength make her an iconic and beloved figure in the Fate universe.
How to get Saber and Archer for free in Honkai Star Rail
Saber is obtainable as a limited 5-star character (Destruction: Wind) through the Event Warp once the event, Sweet Dreams and the Holy Grail, begins.
This special “Holy Grail War” will see Saber engaging with the Astral Express Crew in new ways. The original concept designs for Archer and Saber in Honkai: Star Rail come from original artist Takashi Takeuchi. The collaboration’s story is being supervised by Kinoko Nasu.
All Trailblazers who log in when the event kicks off will receive the 5-star character Archer (The Hunt: Quantum) for free.
