Phainon made his debut during the Trailblaze mission Silver Chariot, Away to the Blackened Land. The Trailblazer and Dan Heng encountered him alongside Tribbie on their journey to Okhema, where it was revealed that he hails from Aedes Elysiae.
He plays a pivotal role in helping the Trailblazer reach Okhema, which was under siege by the Strife Titan Nikador and his forces.
His leadership and skills proved vital in repelling the invaders and protecting the city.
During an interrogation involving the Trailblaze team and Aglaea, Phainon, along with Castorice, vouched for the team, highlighting the importance of their assistance in the fight against the Titans.
His lighter side shone through in Wasteland, Hark Back Glory of Old. Here, he struck a playful bet with Mydei on who would deliver the final blow to Nikador.
The wager was based on who could defeat the most enemies before their confrontation with the mad titan at Castur Kremnos, adding a sense of camaraderie to the high-stakes mission.
