Who is Yunli in Honkai Star Rail?
Yunli is a talented young girl in Honkai Star Rail. Born into a family of skilled swordsmiths, Yunli’s life was deeply intertwined with the world of weaponry.
The Xianzhou Zhuming, her home, is famous for producing a significant portion of the Xianzhou’s arsenal.
Raised by her grandfather, the esteemed swordsmith Huaiyan, she has mastered both swordsmanship and the art of forging.
Yunli possesses a deep connection to swords, viewing them as more honest than people. Her signature weapon is a massive sword she forged herself, aptly named Old Mettle.
Despite her outward appearance, it’s wise not to judge a book by its cover, for Yunli has endured significant hardship — her parents tragically perished due to a cursed sword forged by her father.
This event ignited a fierce determination within her to eradicate all cursed swords and atone for her family’s misfortune. To date, she has successfully destroyed over 300 of these dangerous weapons.

Yunli is a 5-star Physical damage dealer who excels at harnessing the power of counterattacks. Armed with a colossal sword, she embodies the path of Destruction.
A key aspect of Yunli’s gameplay is her ability to automatically perform a Blast Counter when attacked. Additionally, after Yunli uses her ultimate, she can actively enter the parry state and taunt the enemy.
During this period, when attacked or when parry ends, Yunli immediately performs a powerful counterattack on the enemy.
