Following a successful Honor of Kings Invitational Season 2 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, and a triumphant Midseason tournament at the Esports World Cup in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, the teams now set their sights on future challenges.

The Midseason tournament held last August 1 to 5 lived up to its hype as it showcased intense matches from twelve of the best teams in the world who competed for the lion’s share of the USD $3 million prize pool.

In addition to the Esports World Cup, the publishers will be holding another international invitational and a Southeast Asian championship later in the year.

Following Honor of Kings’ global launch on June 20, 2024, TiMi Studio Group and Level Infinite are making significant strides in supporting esports teams in Southeast Asia.

The Honor of Kings Invitational Season 2 was the latest chapter in the Honor of Kings Global Invitational Series. This circuit was announced alongside the USD $15 million commitment by Level Infinite to help expand the international esports community for Honor of Kings.

LGD Gaming MY emerged as the champions of the tournament and led the eight teams who qualified in the Invitational Season 2 for the Honor of Kings Invitational Midseason at the Esports World Cup.

At the EWC, Riyadh pulsed with the thrill of esports action as twelve teams from around the globe converged to battle for the lion’s share of the staggering USD $3 million prize pool.

KPL Dream Team took home the crown and a whopping USD $1 million after defeating LGD Gaming in a much-anticipated grand final. The Chinese squad banked on their Augran and Arli team composition to take down the Malaysians in three games.

Adding to the excitement was the introduction of the official EWC skin, Heavenblade Allain. Allain is adorned in gleaming silver armor, intricately designed with golden accents that highlight his regal and powerful presence.

As the Midseason tournament wrapped up, Level Infinite and TiMi Studio Group announced that the Honor of Kings Championship 2024 will be held in Indonesia this October.

Sixteen top teams from around the world, including Indonesia, the Philippines, Malaysia, Myanmar, Turkey, Brazil, the Middle East and North Africa, America, Europe, and the Pacific, will compete for the title and the biggest share of the USD $1 million prize pool.

Moreover, part of the Honor of Kings esports roadmap for 2024 is to bolster grassroots talent with the Honor of Kings Open Series. This tournament provides a direct pathway for players to challenge the best teams globally.

The Open Series Split Two saw the top 16 teams from 14 regions battle it out at the regional finals last September.
