The realms of cursed energy and ancient Chinese mythology are about to collide, as the Honor of Kings x Jujutsu Kaisen collaboration is finally official.

The announcement was confirmed on Honor of Kings’ social media posts and in the game’s events tab.

Players will soon have the chance to summon their inner sorcerer and fight alongside iconic anime characters in the mystical Hero’s Gorge.

Honor of Kings x Jujutsu Kaisen collaboration heroes and release date

Before the developers announced specific details about the crossover, the rumor mill already anticipated two popular heroes to be brought into the fray, said popular Honor of Kings streamer, Emu PlayZZ.

On October 22, 2024, Biron was announced on Honor of King’s social media channels. He is the chosen hero to receive a skin inspired by Yuji Itadori, the protagonist who carries the fearsome curse of Ryomen Sukuna.

Following this, on October 23, 2024, Level Infinite announced that Kongming will embody the enigmatic persona of Gojo Satoru, a powerful sorcerer with boundless cursed energy and unmatched abilities.

On October 24, 2024, the game publishers confirmed that marksman hero Garo is receiving the third Jujutsu Kaisen collaboration skin called “Garo: Gloweast,” which sees her with long white hair adorning the classic dark grey school uniform. It is an original skin that isn’t based on any particular character from the series.

Players can obtain Garo: Gloweast for free by participating in an in-game special event.

Honor of Kings anime franchise collaborations

This isn’t the first time Honor of Kings has partnered with renowned anime franchises to bring beloved characters into its virtual battleground.

Eternal Sailor Moon and Tuxedo Mask skins were introduced for Princess Frost and Di Renjie, delighting fans of the 90s magical girl genre.

A more expansive crossover saw five Saint Seiya characters—Sagittarius Aiolos, Scorpio Milo, Aries Mu, Leo Aiolia, and Hades—join the battlefield. Each character was adapted with unique flair for heroes like Hou Yi, Mo Zi, and Dharma.

In addition to anime, Honor of Kings has collaborated with the iconic Japanese developer SNK, adding legendary fighters like Charlotte, Nakoruru, and Mai Shiranui to the game’s growing roster.

What is Jujutsu Kaisen about?

Jujutsu Kaisen is a popular Japanese anime and manga series created by Gege Akutami. It follows the story of Yuji Itadori, a high school student who becomes the host of a powerful curse named Sukuna after swallowing one of Sukuna’s fingers.

In a world where cursed energy fuels supernatural abilities, Yuji joins the Jujutsu Sorcerers, who protect humanity by battling malevolent curses.

Known for its stunning animation, complex power system, and compelling characters like Gojo Satoru, Jujutsu Kaisen has gained widespread acclaim for blending intense action, humor, and emotional storytelling.

How to get Honor of Kings x Jujutsu Kaisen skins

Players can acquire the Biron – Yuji Itadori skin starting November 1, 2024 with Kong Ming – Satoru Gojo following on November 5, both obtainable through the game’s draw mechanic.

Additionally, fans can enjoy the original Garo Collaboration skin temporarily for 100 tokens or add it permanently to their collection for 800 tokens.

All Honor of Kings x Jujutsu Kaisen event rewards

Players can participate in daily activities to earn valuable rewards until November 14, 2024. By logging in daily, sharing, and completing matches, players receive tokens, diamonds, and special items.

Meanwhile, the Jujtusu Training event lets players earn tokens through daily logins and specific gameplay tasks from November 1 to November 27, 2024.

During this special week, logging in grants players a variety of themed rewards, including a Yuji and Gojo sticker each valid for 30 days, Jujutsu vouchers, and Jujutsu friendship tools.

Players can also participate in team-based matches to earn additional Jujutsu Draw Vouchers, with rewards granted for completing up to 16 matches.

On November 8 to November 27, 2024, the Jujutsu High Exploration event launches and brings even more opportunities to earn tokens through daily activities.

By participating in these missions, players can unlock exclusive items and celebrate this unique collaboration in true Honor of Kings style.
