On the last grand final day of the Honor of Kings Invitational Season 3, James Yang, Senior Director at Level Infinite Global, announced the game developer’s plans for 2025 HOK esports.
Level Infinite is investing a total of US$15,000,000 in total into Honor of Kings esports. Three global tournaments, seven regional pro leagues, and grassroots tournaments will be organized throughout the year.
Grassroots tournaments include Open Series and Campus Series that are open to students.
Honor of Kings esports 2025 global tournaments

The first international tournament held in 2025 is the Honor of Kings Invitational Season 3 held in Manila, Philippines from February 21 to March 1, 2025.
Teams qualified through the Philippines Qualifier, Indonesia Qualifier, Malaysia Qualifier, Wildcard Qualifier, Europe Qualifier, MENA Qualifier, and JPDR Qualifier.
Another two more HOK esports global tournaments will be held later this year:

7 new pro leagues for Honor of Kings esports 2025
The Honor of Kings Brazil Championship (CHOKBR) is the earliest to launch, starting in 2023. It welcome a new two-season format with partnered and non-partnered teams.

Honor of Kings grassroots tournaments

The first Open Series held over two splits has more than 150,000 player sign-ups as of writing, Level Infinite announced.
The Campus Series (KCS) sees a total of 92 participating regions and countries competing a global US$100,000 prize pool.
