The KPL Dream Team showed everyone why their name is no exaggeration.
The Chinese team made light work of LGD Gaming in the grand final, 3-0, to take home the Honor of Kings Invitational Midseason 2024 crown.
With the victory, the squad claimed the lion’s share of the US$3,000,000 prize pool, and completed the Honor of Kings tournament undefeated.

KPL Dream Team banked on their patented early-game composition to start the series, but was confronted by a gritty LGD Gaming team that went toe-to-toe with them early in the game.
But it was patience and brilliant team fighting that got them where they wanted as they disappointed the Honor of Kings Invitational Season 2 champions in the 19th minute to claim first blood.
Xu “YiNuo” Bicheng got the MVP nod for a stellar performance on Arli, scoring a clean 5/1/3 KDA.
The squad continued their onslaught in the second game on the back of a magnificent showing from Luo “Hai” Siyuan on Augran.
The KPL jungler anchored the team from the get-go to list a perfect 5/0/7 KDA en route to a commanding two-game lead.
The Chinese team went to game three and didn’t look back as they stomped LGD Gaming in 12 minutes to complete the grand final sweep.
It was Yinuo who led the pack again on his Arli, listing a clean 3/0/7 KDA.
With his brilliant performance, Yinuo was hailed as the Finals Most Valuable Player and received US$50,000 as a bonus.
