The ongoing 2022 LPL Spring Playoffs have been postponed a second time due to the rising number of COVID-19 cases in Shanghai, China, where the tournament is held.
TJ Sports, the organizer of the LPL, had initially postponed the matches last week, and moved them online. Round 4 was scheduled to take place this Friday, April 8 with Victory Five versus Top Esports.
The match is now scheduled to take place four days later on April 12, Tuesday.

2022 LPL Spring Playoffs postponed again after lockdown in Shanghai extended

Citing the health and safety of players, coaches, and staff, the LPL announced that they have postponed the remaining playoffs matches again to next week.
According to a report by Reuters, the lockdown in Shanghai was extended yesterday due to the rising number of asymptomatic COVID-19 cases. The enforced measures include stricter quarantine rules, which has affected all 26 million people living in the city.
The first Round 4 series between Top Esports and Victory Five will take place on April 12, Tuesday, followed by JD Gaming and Royal Never Give Up on April 13 in a double elimination format.
The losers of both series will get a second chance to advance when they face each other on April 16, Saturday.
The LPL will confirm the schedule of the final on a later date.
