The Worlds 2024 Knockout stage promises to be an electrifying showcase of skill, strategy, and resilience, featuring only the best of the best teams from around the globe.
After the Play-Ins and Swiss stage, League of Legends esports fans anticipate that the final list of qualified teams will blossom further, bringing their unique strengths and narratives to the stage.
There are no second chances in the Knockout stage — the best-of-five king of the hill bracket remains unchanged since the first Worlds. Eight teams first face off in four quarterfinal matches where a single match loss means elimination. Here are your top eight.
Full list of teams qualified for Worlds 2024 playoffs
The League of Legends World Championship kicked off with the Play-In stage from September 25 to 29, 2024 where teams compete for a coveted spot in the main event.
We then move to the Swiss stage that runs from October 3 to 7 and October 10 to 13.
Finally, the action heats up in the knockout rounds — the Worlds 2024 playoffs. The quarterfinals run from October 17 to 20, 2024, determining which teams will advance to the semifinals, set for October 26 and 27, and eventually the final on November 2, 2024, where the winner hoists the Summoner’s Cup.
