G2 Esports has unveiled its G2 LoL roster for 2025, marking a notable overhaul to its League of Legends EMEA Championship (LEC) lineup.
The LEC powerhouse has officially signed jungler Rudy “SkewMond” Semaan and support Labros “Labrov” Papoutsakis to fill the vacancies left by Martin “Yike” Sundelin and Mihael “Mikyx” Mehle.
SkewMond and Labrov join forces with top laner Sergen “BrokenBlade” Çelik, mid laner Rasmus “Caps” Winther, and bot laner Steven “Hans Sama” Liv to form the complete G2 LoL roster for 2025.
SkewMond and Labrov complete the G2 LoL roster for 2025
SkewMond made a name for himself by helping Team BDS Academy secure titles at the EMEA Masters 2024 Summer and the La Ligue Francaise (LFL) 2024 Summer Playoffs. He makes his LEC debut at the LEC Winter 2025 in January.
G2 Esports has also added support player Labrov to their 2025 roster. Labrov, known for his mastery of hook champions like Nautilus, Alistar, and Thresh, has previously competed in the LEC with Team Vitality and Team BDS. His consistent playoff appearances in 2024, including Winter, Spring, and Summer, highlight his experience and potential.
With the signing of Labrov and SkewMond, G2 Esports has officially disbanded its highly successful roster, which included BrokenBlade, Yike, Caps, Hans Sama, and Mikyx. This formidable team, assembled in 2023, dominated the LEC for two years, securing four consecutive championships at LEC Winter, Spring, Summer, and Season Finals in 2024.
Before the G2 LoL roster for 2025 makes its official debut at LEC Winter 2025, fans can catch them in action at the Red Bull League of Its Own 2024 showmatch against T1. This event takes place on December 15, 2024, at the Accor Arena in Paris, France.
