LCK players are off to Vietnam for a special weekend with local League of Legends fans.
As part of the Visit Korea Year 2024 festivities, representatives from the League of Legends Champions Korea (LCK) are visiting Hanoi, Vietnam to promote Korean tourism at the Korea Travel Festa 2024 event.
Hosted by the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism and organized by the Korea Tourism Organization, this event features KT Rolster’s bot lane tandem Kim “Deft” Hyuk-kyu and Cho “BeryL” Geon-hee, Dplus KIA’s mid laner Heo “Showmaker” Su and jungler Choi “Lucid” Yong-hyeok, and OKSavingsBank BRION’s top laner Park “Morgan” Ru-han.

LCK players are participating in Korea Travel Festa 2024 at Hanoi Mega Grand World K-Town Square in Hanoi, Vietnam, from May 25 to May 26, 2024.
The event features a dedicated promotional booth for the LCK, where players interact with fans in person. The booth hosts autograph sessions and fan meetings, showcasing all five players — Deft, BeryL, Showmaker, Lucid, and Morgan.
Additionally, these LCK players will be participating in media conferences, Korean tourism talk shows, and play showmatches with Vietnamese influencers within the event.
The media conference is divided into two parts. The first part focuses on esports and the LCK, with LCK Secretary General Aiden Lee and the players providing insights into the league and addressing local inquiries. They also extend an invitation to Vietnamese fans to explore Korea.
“Vietnamese fans are expressing remarkable support for the LCK, resulting in a significant annual increase in viewership in the Vietnamese region,” said Aiden.
“Through this roadshow, we aim to reciprocate the affection shown by Vietnamese fans towards the LCK and also encourage more local visitors. This event serves as a platform to educate fans about both the LCK and Korean tourism.”

The LCK is a regional league that boasts eight World Championship victories, the most prestigious title in League of Legends esports.
Broadcasted live in six languages worldwide, including Korean, English, and Vietnamese, the LCK has garnered a substantial fanbase in Vietnam, ranking third in terms of viewership.
The conclusion of the LCK Spring 2024 Finals further cements its popularity in Vietnam, with a record-breaking 560,000 simultaneous viewers in the country alone.
