The League of Legends Championship Pacific (LCP) 2025 ecosystem

The League of Legends Championship Pacific functions as the premier regional competition within the Asia-Pacific ecosystem, serving as the exclusive pathway for teams in the region to qualify for global events starting from 2025.

Below the LCP, the PCS, VCS, and LJL continues to operate domestically. The top teams in these domestic leagues will then compete for a guest spot through a promotion and relegation tournament.

“By creating a path between the LCP and the domestic leagues, we want to highlight the talent
and enable the ambitions of teams and players throughout the region,” Riot Games wrote in the official press release.

“In future, we aim to give wider access to the LCP by expanding the ecosystem beyond the existing domestic leagues, keeping the competition diverse and dynamic.”
