The League of Legends MSI 2024 Play-In stage roars to life, where eight teams clash for the right to advance to the prestigious Bracket Stage.

With the winner of MSI now qualifying for Worlds and the runner-up’s region securing an additional seed, the stakes are higher than ever. This opening act promises high-octane LoL esports action as regional champions — including the Worlds 2023 champion T1 — vie for a shot at glory.

Last year saw a significant format change with more teams joining the competition. The number of representatives from major regions like LCS, LEC, LCK, and LPL doubled to two each.
