Arcane Season 2 teasers, trailers, and previews

The announcement trailer for Season 2 in 2022 presented the voices of Caitlyn, Vi, and Jinx. Sharp-eared fans recognized a fourth character in the Season 2 announcement trailer.

The ending of the clip let out a fearsome howl, hinting at the arrival of a feral character in Arcane. This likely is the voice of Warwick, who was earlier theorized as Vander’s mutated persona.

The theory gains support in another Season 2 preview, where a giant, hairy creature is shown suspended while Singed observes from his chair.

The official Season 2 poster was released on June 3, 2024, showing Jinx embracing Vi. This is opposite to Season 1’s poster where Vi embraces Powder.

The tweet was accompanied by the tagline “Nothing ever stays dead.”

On June 7, 2024, the first season 2 video teaser was released featuring Caitlyn, Vi — who shows off her new and improved gauntlets wearing the Piltover Enforcer uniform — standing next to fellow Piltover officers.

On June 11, 2024, the first season 2 trailer was released. It depicts the aftermath of Jinx’s assault on the Council, which ignites a dangerous escalation in the Piltover-Zaun conflict.

Riot Games also confirmed that Arcane Season 2 is the last and final season.

On September 5, 2024, Netflix released the official trailer for Arcane Season 2. The trailer showcases the conflict that the main characters face after the attack on Piltover.

“Arcane is just the beginning of our larger storytelling journey and partnership with the wonderful animation studio that is Fortiche,” said Christian Linke during a League Dev Update on June 11, 2024.

“From the very beginning, since we started working on this project, we had a very specific ending in
mind, which means the story of Arcane wraps up with this second season. But Arcane is just the first of
many stories that we want to tell in Runeterra.”

Arcane Season 2 episodes

Riot Games has not yet officially announced the total number of episodes for Arcane Season 2.

Based on Season 1, the next season might also have a total of nine episodes in three acts, running at about 45 minutes each.
