Martin “Rekkles” Larsson has departed Fnatic ahead of the 2024 season.

Rekkles leaves Fnatic and is now a free agent
Following his departure, Rekkles is currently a free agent, marking the first time he’s been without a team since 2012.
Looking ahead to the next season, he hopes to join the League of Legends EMEA Championship (LEC) as a support, having dedicated the last five months to honing his skills in that role.
“(I) think I’ve reached a level of play on support that’s relatively high,” he said. “Obviously I’m open to playing ADC as well, but I think my persona, skills as a player and view of the game is better utilized on the support role than the ADC role.”
In 2022, he played for Karmine Corp in the LFL. He returned to Fnatic as their primary bot laner for the LEC Winter and Spring 2023 splits. The team had a disappointing run, finishing ninth in the LEC Winter 2023 regular season.
During LEC Spring 2023, they secured eighth place in the group stage after a loss to MAD Lions in the lower bracket.
Before the LEC Summer 2023 season began, he officially transitioned from the bot lane to the support role but was subsequently benched and omitted from the team’s starting lineup.
He was replaced by Oh “Noah” Hyeon-taek in the bot lane and Adrian “Trymbi” Trybus in the support position.
