Former Fnatic top laner Paul “sOAZ” Boyer caught the eye with his statement comparing the two most popular MOBA games.
Dota 2 is a much more interesting game than League of Legends, the game he spent 11 years playing as a pro, according to sOAZ. The LoL veteran shared this in a recent interview with the founder of H2K, Richard “Rich” Wells.
The interview covered a variety of topics surrounding sOAZ’s longtime career in League of Legends. Long-time fans of Fnatic had the opportunity to reminisce about his early professional days in France, to the peak of the early Fnatic roster.

sOAZ compares Dota 2 to League of Legends
When asked about Dota 2, the former Fnatic top laner said he felt Valve’s MOBA allowed for more creativity than League of Legends.
“I think there’s a lot more, I would say, crazy things that happen in Dota… there’s a lot more action in Dota,” he told Rich. “At the top, Dota is probably more fun, League is a lot more teamplay-based, not that Dota is not… but I think there’s a lot more room to error.”
“You can be more creative in Dota. That’s probably the most fun thing compared to League.”
sOAZ is signed to Austria-based organization WAVE Esports, a team in the ERL Prime League.
Back in his heyday, sOAZ was known for his classic teleports, like a jaw-dropping highlight in the 2015 League of Legends World Championship semi-final against T1.
Creative play and experience are what make the French player one of the most famous players of his time in the European region.
