T1, a powerhouse in the world of esports, has consistently dominated the League of Legends World Championship. Since their first victory in season 3 in 2013, they’ve clinched multiple titles, solidifying their status as one of the greatest teams in esports history.
To celebrate their victories as per tradition for World Championship winners, Riot Games has released a series of T1 Worlds skins featuring the organization’s legendary players.
So, just how many T1 Worlds skins are there, and which champions have received these legendary skins? Let’s dive into the history of T1’s World Championship victories and the skins that commemorate them.
What are Worlds skins in League of Legends?
Worlds skins are special, limited-edition skins in League of Legends that are awarded to the winning team of the World Championship.
These skins are highly coveted by players and fans alike, as they commemorate the team’s victory and the individual player’s contributions to the championship.
Who is eligible for Worlds skins?
According to League of Legends Product Manager Anna “Supercakes” Donlon, a player must meet one of the following criteria to be eligible for a Worlds skin:
- Participate in at least two Play-in stage games that impacted the team’s advancement to the knockout game.
- Participate in at least two Group stage games that impacted the team’s advancement to the knockout game.
- Participate in at least one Knockout stage game (Quarterfinals, Semifinals, or Finals).
Additionally, the player must choose a champion they played at least once during Worlds. If a champion has already received a Worlds skin, the player may need to choose another option.
How many Worlds skins does T1 have?
T1 has won Worlds five times since 2013, resulting in a total of 23 Worlds skins. With five more skins coming in 2025 (including a possible prestige edition awarded to the MVP, in this case, Lee “Faker” Sang-hyeok) to celebrate their Worlds 2024 victory, T1 will have a total of 28 or 29 Worlds skins.
T1 is the only team to win Worlds multiple times as of writing, making them the only team with multiple sets of Worlds skins.
