League of Legends Championship Pacific (LCP 2025) format

  • Season Kickoff
  • Mid Season
  • Season Finals

Season Kickoff

Eight teams participate in a single round-robin format during the regular season, competing in best-of-three matches.

The top six teams move on to the qualifying series, where they will face off in a combination of best-of-three and best-of-five matches to determine the first LCP representative for the upcoming international event.

The Fearless Draft system is adopted, which prevents teams from selecting champions that have already been picked in previous games of each best-of-series. This encourages greater diversity in team compositions.

Mid Season

During this split, teams vie to become one of the two representatives qualifying for the Mid-Season Invitational (MSI) from their regional leagues.

The Regular Season features a double round-robin format with best-of-one matches to determine the top six teams advancing to the Qualifying Series.

In the Qualifying Series, teams compete in best-of-three matchups in Round 1 and 2, followed by best-of-five matches in the final rounds. The top two teams will earn their spots at MSI.

Additionally, performance during the Mid-Season influences seeding for the next LCP split—the Season Finals.

Season Finals

Teams will be seeded according to their performance during the Mid-Season, and the winner of this split is named the first-ever LCP champion.

Teams are also competing for the chance to represent the LCP on the biggest stage, with three qualification slots for Worlds up for grabs.
