In Griffin’s LCK Week 3 clash against DAMWON Gaming, Griffin had a solid lead of three drakes and five kills, making DWG hesitant in initiating a clash.
However, DWG were desperate for a power-up and tried to rush the Ocean drake.
But as they were fighting the dragon, Lee “Tarzan” Seung-yong used a Blast Cone and jumped the wall, stealing the drake from DWG.
With Tarzan going gold to avoid death, the rest of Griffin eliminated a diving Kim “Canyon” Geon-bu who tried to trap the team in a Cataclysm.
With a quick dash, Son “Ucal” Woo-hyeon made his way to the back-line and initiated a two-man knock-up with Emperor’s Divide.
As soon as Tarzan came out of his Zhonya’s, Park “Viper” Do-hyeon flashed into the pit to secure a double-kill on the two knocked-up enemies. With the incredible steal, Griffin rushed to Baron to close out the game.
After a successful first game, Griffin closed out their match against DAMWON Gaming with a 2-1 standing.
