Updated on September 27, 11:24 a.m. (GMT+8): Updated with official splashart, adjusted title.
The Teemo rework 2024 releasing in patch 14.20 follows Lee Sin’s Art and Sustainability Update (ASU) that was released earlier in the year.
ASU is where a League of Legends champion’s concept art, tech art, and animation are revamped. The way a champion is shaped is essential to their look and personality and in Teemo’s case, the ASU team recognizes that a yordle’s proportions are a key part of their charm.
“He’s getting slightly longer limbs which will definitely make him look taller, while still maintaining ’round yordle fluffiness,'” shared Concept Artist Megan “Ze Ocelot” O’Rourke in a 2023 dev diary post.
Besides this, details and accessories are more distinct, the colors and tones are more balanced, and the shapes and divisions are easier to see.
And just all champion ASUs, they’re getting new splashart. Here’s a preview of in-game turn arounds for updated Teemo skins.
