The LoL patch 25.S1.3 release date is coming, and it brings a couple of changes to League of Legends gameplay and player experience.

This is the third patch of Season 1 in 2025, featuring nerfs and buffs to champions and systems, alongside the introduction of an exciting skin line.

LoL patch 25.S1.3 preview

League of Legends patch 25.S1.3 brings balance changes affecting a total of 17 champions. Nine champions are receiving buffs, while eight are being nerfed.

This patch also focuses on system changes, primarily targeting support items and Dragon Souls. Cloud Soul, despite being perceived as weak by many players, is known to be extremely powerful in the hands of skilled players. Therefore, Cloud Soul is being nerfed in this patch. Meanwhile, Chemtech Soul is receiving buffs to increase its overall strength.

Additionally, the bounty system is undergoing a minor update in patch 25.S1.3.

Riot Games Lead Gameplay Designer Matt “Riot Phroxzon” Leung-Harrison also provides a preview of changes to the Swiftplay game mode. These include buffs and nerfs to a handful of champions, as well as adjustments to the overall game pacing.

The LoL patch 25.S1.3 release date is on Wednesday, February 5, 2025 (PT).

This patch introduces a new skin line called “Dumpling Darlings,” inspired by Chinese cuisine.

The Dumpling Darlings skin line features champions Syndra, Amumu, and Seraphine, and includes a variety of bite-sized treats in its theme, such as dumplings and candied strawberries.
