Riot Games introduced something new this Worlds to make it extra special.
Worlds Unlocked 2023 is a new physical and digital product tailored to League of Legends fans. Both include the coveted Worlds 2023 Renekton skin, which is also available for purchase by itself in the in-game store.
Besides the addition of six new esports skins each year designed by the world championship winners, players also have the option to purchase championship skins during Worlds. It first started with Championship Riven back in 2012 during season two, while the latest is Championship Leblanc released in 2020.
Since then however, Riot Games rebranded. Last year featured the Worlds 2022 Azir skin and the year before was the Worlds 2021 Jarvan skin.
Worlds 2023 Renekton skin is now available in the in-game store, and your proceeds go a long way
25% of the sales from Worlds 2023 Renekton skin will go to the teams competing at Worlds. This gives you the chance to support your favorite teams by growing the tournament’s prize pool — but is the skin worth buying?
According to Renekton mains on the subreddit, a handful expressed positive feedback, calling it “worth” for its price. They agree that visually, the animations and chromas are clean, and pair perfectly with its sound effects.
The best part has to be his tailored recall. The Summoner’s Cup dramatically appears above his head, with sparkles and spotlights and all, as he turns his head up towards it and roars to the heavens.
