Riot has announced that it has canceled all media activity for League of Legends Champions Korea (LCK) indefinitely due to the country moving to Red Alert following an outbreak of the COVID-19 coronavirus.
For the foreseeable future, there will be no media interviews with any of the teams or players.
South Korea recently moved up to second on the worldwide list of affected countries, with 833 confirmed cases and eight deaths so far.
With the government raising the alert level to Red, there is also the looming possibility that LCK matches themselves might also be postponed, similar to what has happened with the Overwatch League’s South Korea homestands.
