Korean League of Legends team, Gen.G, has proven once again that Lee “Faker” Sang-hyeok and his new T1 crew aren’t the only sheriffs in LCK.
In the second game of their LCK Week 2 match, Gen.G was waiting for T1 to slip up in the mid-lane. With no real way for T1 to advance on Gen.G, Gen.G brought the fight to them.
As Kim “Clid” Tae-min engaged some of T1 members in the jungle, Faker and Moon “Cuzz” Woo-chan attempted to take down Gen.G’s main damage dealer, Park “Ruler” Jae-hyuk. Instead, Ruler countered the advancement with a barrage of feathers to Faker, making the T1 mid-laner the first to fall in the clash.
With Ruler following up with another elimination on Cuzz, Clid and Kim “Rascal” Kwang-hee kept the other three T1 members busy. Although Park “Teddy” Jin-seong unleashed his Bullet Time at point-blank range, Clid immediately turned gold to protect himself from death.
With the Zhonya’s Hourglass, Clid bought enough time for the rest of Gen.G to clean up T1 for a game-winning ace.
Although the highlight was an amazing display of Gen.G’s teamwork and skill, T1 eventually took over Game 3 of the series, winning 2-1.
