South Korean League of Legends professional player, Gwak “Bdd” Bo-seong, has announced that he is donating 5 million Korean won (US$4, 100), to victims of the COVID-19 coronavirus.
Bdd explained that the donation is a meaningful way for him to celebrate his 21st birthday, which is on March 1, as well as to celebrate the fourth anniversary of his debut in the professional LoL scene.

“Although I’m saddened by the fact that I won’t be able to hear the fans sing me the birthday song, I’ll continue to be a player that the fans will be proud of. Please stay safe and thank you for all the support,” said Bdd in a translated statement by Inven Global.
The amount will definitely benefit his fellow Koreans, who are now experiencing a Red alert threat level with about 1,600 reported cases.
