The League of Legends Champions Korea will return with the Summer Split starting on June 17.

With the Mid-Season Cup showcasing the LCK’s best teams back in LoL Park, we’ll likely see the league return with an in-studio broadcast.

The LCK will also welcome the newly-promoted Team Dynamics from Challengers Korea. With Team Dynamics’ impressive performance in the LCK Summer Promotion, it’ll be interesting to see how the top-tier CK team will fare in the major league.



The Korean league will continue its 5-day weekly game schedule from Wednesday to Sunday, with two best-of-five matches each day. Here is the official schedule for the Week 1:

With the Summer Split, teams will be gunning for a spot in the illustrious Summer Playoffs, where the LCK Summer champion will be given an automatic slot to the Worlds 2020 bracket.

Aside from the Summer finals, LCK teams can enter Worlds 2020 either through collecting the most championship points (second seed) or qualifying for the play-in stage (third seed).

The Summer Split will begin with Afreeca Freecs going against SANDBOX Gaming and league leaders T1 facing DRX. You can catch the LCK action live on the official LCK Twitch channel.
