Riot Games has finally confirmed the return of Clash mode to League of Legends on February 22-23.
The announcement was made through an official tweet with a subtle caption saying, “Clash is coming.”

The Clash game mode was initially introduced to League around two years ago, giving amateur players an avenue for weekly tournaments with prizes.
Unfortunately, the game mode was riddled with technical issues that made it unplayable to the general public.
Hopefully, its return will be more successful, as a dev diary notes that the developers have done a fair amount of test runs to make the mode functional this time around.
“While we ran into some minor issues with the global beta, we’re confident we can fix them quickly and have Clash ready to launch,” said lead producer Jeremy “Brightmoon” Lee.
