League of Legends reigning World champions, FunPlus Phoenix, have announced that they are donating ¥2 million (US$290,000) to help combat the Wuhan Coronavirus epidemic.
According to a statement from the China-based organization, the donation will go towards purchasing medical supplies and will also directly support the city of Wuhan.

The coronavirus has claimed the lives of over 200 victims as the infection count nears 10,000 worldwide, with more than 15 countries affected.
Earlier this week, China’s League of Legends Pro League made a move to postpone its 2020 LPL Spring Split in light of the outbreak that’s affecting the country and its neighboring locations.
