Earlier this week, former legendary players from the LCK gathered for a special League of Legends event called “Return of Champions Korea” organized by Sandbox Gaming.
Ten retired pro-players played three matches. They were divided into teams based on two prominent factions from League of Legends lore: Team Demacia and Team Noxus.
Here are the best plays from the event.
dade’s Yasuo is still one of the most unforgiving in the world
A well-time Wind Wall by Bae “dade” Eo-jin saved him from death in a 2v1 gank mid, blocking Choi “inSec” In-seok’s Sonic Wave.
His team arrived just in time to set him up for a perfect revenge combo.
How long does it take to kill PawN’s LeBlanc?
LeBlanc already has short cooldowns. Add in a blue buff with Heo “PawN” Won-seok’s skills and this is what you get – multiple outplays across three enemies with Distortion.

- 100 Thieves rob Dignitas of both the Baron and the game
MadLife demonstrates perfectly what it means to be a true support
As Braum says, “The heart is the strongest muscle.” Hong “MadLife” Min-gi went all out to save PawN, jumping in with Stand Behind Me, putting up Unbreakable, casting Exhaust and burning his ultimate just to ensure LeBlanc got out alive.
Just when Kang “Ambition” Chan-yong thought he could clip him with Winter’s Wrath, a perfectly timed Stopwatch saved his own life, buying his team time to turn the fight around.
Ambition secures two kills for his team before dodging for his life
Proving why he deserves his very own Jarvan IV skin, Kang “Ambition” Chan-yong found a pick onto PawN’s Talon before walking into a 1v2 skirmish.
Unfazed, he maximized his double buffs, auto-attacking Chae “Piglet” Gwang-jin’s Vayne to death before escaping with a beautiful side-step away from inSec’s Sonic Wave.
inSec turns PraY’s Ashe into a special delivery
The RCK wouldn’t be complete without inSec pulling off his own move on his signature champion.
Blink and you’ll miss his flash, ward hop and Dragon’s Rage that sends Kim “PraY” Jong-in’s Ashe straight into his team.
